Join Orb360 Director Jay Changlani to unlock effective planning to help your business prosper

Jay is a Chartered Accountant and a Director of Orb360, Chartered Accounting firm based in Auckland & Wellington. Jay has over 10 years of Accounting, forensic accounting and tax experience. Some of his previous roles include Tax Manager at Grant Thornton and Crowe Horwath (WHK), Tax Investigator at the IRD, Forensic Accountant at McDonald Vague, and Financial Accountant at Flight Centre.

Jay specializes in International and domestic tax. He provides a wide range of tax technical advice
across all tax types. Jay has a wide range of experience and has a broad understanding of tax regimes.

The majority of his work involves providing technical tax advice, Tax planning, International tax and managing IRD disputes.

He has a particular interest in tax due diligence, IRD disputes and International Tax. He regularly
presents and writes tax articles in the local newspaper covering various business aspects.

He is an India NZ Business Council Board Member, Past Treasurer for Wellington Indian Association. He is a past President and a member of BNI Capital City Wellington (Business Network Group), Member of Porirua Chamber of Commerce and Hutt Valley and Auckland Chamber of Commerce and a Member of Franchise Association of NZ

He was selected as one of the 40 young aspiring tax policy leaders in NZ that discussed and debated global tax policy issues with the deputy director of the International Monetary Fund’s fiscal affairs department while he was in New Zealand last year for a two-day tax administration conference.

He was part of the Australia New Zealand (CAANZ) Chartered Accountants Local Leadership Team and the IRD Tax liaison Group until 2013.

Outside work Jay enjoys spending time with his family, playing cricket and meditation. He works closely with the Education International Managers in NZ and supports Indian migrant students to settle in NZ.
