In New Zealand, it is estimated that between 25,000 and 55,000 children go to school without lunch every day.
Gill transitioned from donating month to month to creating a business that could grow and make a difference of a larger scale.
Building in ethical and sustainable principals right from the outset was a key criteria.
Passionate about Zero Hunger, and also about developing people.

The economic world is is a period of turmoil, a shock phase transitioning into a recovery phase. Businesses who want to thrive entering the next period of global growth are already reorganising their businesses around key principles (trends) that will characterise success in the coming decade. This 21st century thinking will replace many practices that made businesses successful over the last decade.
Sequential to parallel
- Previously entrepreneurs had commercial careers, made money and then entered philanthropic activty and made a difference. 21st century entrepreneurs will practice philanthropy at the same time as their businesses thrive and the activity will be integrated through their purpose.
Donating to Event based giving
- Future thinking is to use business processes and successes as reasons to celebrate by doing something good in the world, and all businesses can participate, no matter how small.
What is the role of BoB?
- We are set up to help businesses identify and activate their unique strengths to increase customer engagement and build community. We help reorganise strategy to focus on assets that deliver predictable cashflow, thereby significantly increase brand and business valuation for the owners and stakeholders that we work with.
